Introducing The Phoenix™ by Composite Cooling Solutions

The Phoenix™ design features the latest in composite material, manufacturing methods and construction technology. Custom-designed shapes have been produced specifically for cooling tower use, minimizing off-the-shelf materials.

The Phoenix™ allows flexibility not available to traditional timber field erected towers. The benefit of the modular design dramatically decreases the on-site erection time by transporting the modules from the factory directly to the site.

Owner benefits of The Phoenix™ line include permanent structure life, high quality materials and components, fire retardant construction, environment friendly materials of construction, minimum overall maintenance costs, reduced installation costs, and unlimited cell size selection.

Tower Sizes

Custom counterflow towers available with cell sizes from 10' x 10' to 56' x 56' capable of handling water flows from 400 GPM to 40,000 GPM.

The Phoenix™ Advantage

  • FRP structural members designed specifically for field erected cooling tower duty

  • Fabrication by "State-of-the-Art" robotics ensure close machinery tolerance and proper fit of mating parts in the field

  • Moment resisting - stiff column construction

  • Reduced number of structural components - one type of connection hardware

  • Reduced training and construction time

  • Minimum air blockage and fill penetration by structural members

  • Maximum UV protection - 2 to 4 times greater than commercial shapes

  • Reduced fire potential

  • High quality - chemical resistant resin system

  • Heavy duty "Patent Pending" connections insure no loose structural joints and reduced structure vibration

  • Safer construction with stable bent lines and wide bays allow scissor lift installation of longitudinal beams
